Once upon a time Fantasy Book/Shadow box

I am enchanted by Prima Marketing's "Nature Academia" papers and wanted to create a book that holds the little world of imagination the papers create.

The cover is cotton fabric dyed green and stamped with some texture stamps. Tim Holtz Bubbles and Bo Bunny Rough it up stamps.

Then I folded the fabric at the edge adding paper leaves, wool fibers, laces and fabric strips tying to make it look mossy like the forest floor.

I used some paper clay in the collection silicon molds painted them with acrylic paint . Also bought the paper ephemera and decorated with with them.   There is some 49 and market ephemera used in there too.

I made 2 half inch deep box frames and built up a couple of the papers inside of them by fussy cutting layers of the images.

I have some die cut Leaves from Sizzix and Tim Holtz Wildflower stems there too.

I put a flat page in the middle and then decorated. There is some glitter too. Reneabouquets chipboard and butterfles. As well as the nest I made with thread.

Happy Fall Photo Folio using Maja Designs "Autumn Poem"

Hi Friends!

I am sharing a Photo Folio I created.

I used Maja Designs "Autumn Poem" paper collection to create this folio.  I also fussy cut elements from 2 of Prima Marketing's "Pink Autumn" paper collection.I believe the Prima paper names are Pink Autumn and Sweater Weather.

I created some die cut flowers with Spellbinders Large Die of the Month (January) - Club Blooms.  I inked them to give them some more dimension and interest.

It has a burlap ribbon to tie it closed, and it also has magnets holding it closed.

Fully opened it is 29 inches long.

There are tuck spots.
And tags to journal on.
Or you could put photos there.
I have put a little envelop that is held closed with a ribbon.
It has a booklet inside the envelope.

A pocket with 4"x6" photo mats.

There is a removable photo booklet.  It will hold 4"x6" photos.
A waterfall that will hold 4"x4" photo's

Here you may untie the bow and remove the booklet.

A tuck spot with a journaling tag.

I counted a 30 places to put photos.  Sizes 4x6 , 4x4, and a few smaller.

There is a video walk through HERE.

his folio is for sale HERE.

I hope you like it!!

Thank you so much for stopping by to look. ❤️

Here is the tag I created for my swap partner Elizabeth. I thought a blue bird of happiness in a nest and lilacs would say spring.

I used  Papertrey Ink Die Feathered Friends Set 15 for the bird. I inked on the blue color.

I created the nest with string, and the eggs with paper clay painted with acrylic craft paint. The lilacs are made by punching lots of small flowers.
There are various flowers from my stash. Chipboard pieces and Reneabouquets butterflies.

I also created a little house for Elizabeth. It fits over a tea light and lights up.
Using the Tim Holtz Sizzix Paper Village Thinlits Dies

I created the flowers with a 1/8 inch hole punch and a 1/4 inch hole punch and flower shaper tools

Spring Time Village

First time using these village dies.

Sizzix - Tim Holtz - Thinlits Dies - Village Collection

It was a bit challenging gluing the tiny parts (like the windows). but so fun!
I used metallic paper behind the windows hoping it would reflect the light and look like the lights were on.

The collection has so many parts that make it easy to create many different styles of buildings
I know will be making more of these in the future.  :)
