Sleeping Beauty ATC's

I made these ATC's for my swap partner in the ATC fairy swap at "Mad Crafting Skills" on Face Book.  My partner Debbie Adams said she loves Sleeping Beauty and the colors yellow and green.
I used Tim Holtz paper dolls as characters as in a humorous play.

I was worried the cards wouldn't make sense, so I attached them to the back ground piece in sequence with little cloths pins.  So Debbie can take them off "easy" if she prefers.

I choose  Reneabouquets Beautiful Board Sweet Baby Laser Cut Chipboard Set
to represent the baby princes that the wicked fairy cursed.  She stands over them with attitude.
As she comes, in the TH Paper doll package, she stands with another little girl.  I loved that she had her hand on her hip so I fussy cut her away from her sister.  Gave her a wand and used Reneabouquets Harmony Premium Paper Butterfly for her wings.  She needed a wand to seal the whole deal, so Beautiful Board Beautiful Bits - Stars and some wire did the trick.
A tooth pick and some wool for the spinning wheel spindle that sets the curse in motion.   I used Glossy Accents on red paper to make the blood drops.  Just squeezed the Glossy Accents onto the paper in the right size and shape, let it dry and fussy cut them out.  The end of the toothpick I painted with red paint.  The drops are both glued to the background paper.  It's only the angle of the camera that makes it look like the upper drop is attached to the tooth pick.
Happy Ending!! Prince Charming comes with true love to kiss the princess awake.  You can tell because he wears his beating heart on his chest.  The princess is still a bit groggy sitting up in bed.
A bit of cloth to make a pillow and blanket.   I fussy cut out brown paper that is supposed to look like the head board of a bed, but I fear it looks a lot like a chair...  OMGoodness can you imagine sleeping 100 yrs in a chair!??
I used one Princess crown and cut it in half with cutting pliers.  (Sharing is good when your "flat")
I printed out the sayings on my computer onto card stock using an old typewriter font.
PS:  I think "Prince Charming" is for Cinderella, But I don't care about accuracy here.  I think that little prince is very charming... Yessir, a cutie!!

Thank you so much for stopping by to look!! ❤️
