ReplyDeleteI'm glad you like it Ariane! Thanks for the lovely comment!
DeleteWhat a beautiful book! I think I would like to make one! Could you tell me what papers and how many of each you used in the 12x12 paper pad? My store only sells the individual papers. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteP.S. Are you from Louisiana? My family lives down there and you sound so much like them! :)
Hi Cyndie, I'm so glad you like the book and you're going to make one. I used a whole 12 x 12 paper pad plus 7 more 12 x 12 double sided papers.
DeleteSo you will need:
4 sheets - Granny's Quilt 3 sheets - My Sunshine 3 sheets - Home Sweet Home 4 sheets- Garden Fresh 4 sheets- Farmers Market and 2 sheets of all the others.
Awww, no I'm born and raised in New England. :)
Thank you so much for sharing your work. You are so wonderfully talented! I just started making the book cover and I am waiting for the glue to dry on the hinge. I try to stay away from the hidden hinge system because of the score tape used....I am trying it with quick dry glue and keeping my fingers crossed!
DeleteP.S. It's funny that you are from New England because we live in the Midwest and when my parents moved here everyone thought they were from the New England area and not New Orleans! And here I reversed the two with you! Ha Ha! I am going to have my mother listen to you and see what she thinks! Take care.
I'm glad you sent a note while the glue drys. :) That's funny that I sound like your family....lol
DeleteHappy scrapin' !
I absolutely love this album and appreciate the tutorial very much. I have seen several tutorials on making albums but have never seen anyone use tyvek.....what a great idea!! Thank you so much for doing this for us, it was long and I know it took a lot of your time! I want to make one of these but I do not have a die cut machine yet. The dies you used in this tutorial added such detail and would really like to have one before I start a big project like this one. Thanks again for taking so much time out of your schedule to share this with us!! Great job!!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Shellie! Your very welcome. I hope you can get a die cutting machine soon. I love mine. I'm so glad you stopped by to comment! <3 ((HUG)) -Terry
